The plant is the teacher …..

Both Jivan and Samashti have walked a long and joyful paths under the guidance of grandmother.

Since 2003, Samashti worked, sang and traveled with Carioca Freitas for many years before focusing more on establishing a local community in the Bay Area, California.

Jivan has been working with plant medicine since 2004, when he started sitting with Carioca. His experience and personal relationship with plant medicine and similar medicines were a big driving force in developing his transformational work to help people Be in the present moment.

Together they created the Micro Luz Process in 2020.
